009 – The Weekly Chomp – Lil’ Office

We’re in the little office in this episode! (Nobody lost the key to the normal one why would you think that?)

In this week’s Chomp:

– Dragon Age Origins free to download for a limited time
– Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack free or name your own price on bandcamp
– Super Smash Bros on 3DS, plus WiiU release December 5th
– Xbox One selling decently in China
– Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry lend their voices to Little Big Planet
– Alien Isolation mixed reviews, could have done with being 30% shorter game play to keep interest
— Virtual Reality version also mentioned
– Oculus Rift: Is it worth buying?
– Games: There’s lots of them. With restricted time and money you have to pick a good one
– Buying Grand Theft Auto 3 as a ten year old
– The Evil Within comes out on Tuesday, directed by Shinji Mikami known for the good Resident Evil games
— Locked at 30fps though
– A quick “Get well soon!” to Totalbiscuit who has recently had surgery
– Uber Entertainment kickstarting a new game Human Resources. Planetary Annihilation to be abandoned? Probably not, but still worrying. Are they just half-arsing the games they make?
– Project spark recently released. Does not contain Conker from Conker’s Bad Fur Day

Keep on gaming!
